Il campo di Yurte di Djanbas Kala si trova su una collina vicino all’antica fortezza Djanbas Kala.

La fortezza di Djanbas Kala fu costruita nel 4° secolo a.C. e 5 secoli dopo fu distrutta sotto la pressione dei nomadi, che riuscirono a rompere in tutta la difesa. Oggi è possibile vedere le doppie mura ben conservate della Fortezza, la cui altezza è di circa 8-10 metri. C’è anche il Tempio del Fuoco e del Sole, i cui abitanti, professavano lo zoroastrismo – una delle più antiche religioni del mondo. Durante duemila anni, l’aspetto della fortezza fu cambiato sotto l’influenza dell’acqua e del vento: le scappatoie si erodevano gravemente dopo la stagione delle piogge e parte delle pareti era quasi coperta di sabbia.
